Yep always had to do a time sheet and as the labor laws changed how many hours I charged a day changed. When I retired I could not show more than eight hours a day and forty hours a week regardless of how many hours I worked. I only showed time off if I burned annual or sick leave.

Badging is the same thing as punching in and out.

I liked working on the road when I was with Elliott. Total hours for the day. No start and end times unless the customer wanted it. Lunches anywhere from half hour to 3 hours. I loved waiting on standby. Minimum 8 hrs a day. If I was scheduled for 12 hour day. That's what I got paid. Just to sit around.

When we had training or meeting all day. I would last about 30 to 45 minutes into before I started to do the head bob. I looked like a bobble head trying to stay awake. I would have to stand up and walk around the room. That used to piss off the ops manager. And I would tell him that I'M BORED! :rofl2:

Thank goodness we are done! Now what to do since there is not enough time in the day to do something meaningful lol.

We just left Remarkable that was formerly ClaimTrak. We have moved to Aprima for out patient services and Amrita for the inpatient facility.

Never heard of those. I have a client using Allscripts but moving over to Epic soon. It's funny how a lot of users ask me questions about the EHR functionality. Even funnier that I can provide them with an answer.

I like Epic, it is a beast of a system.

Yep we considered looked into Epic and they are way out of our league. They are for large hospitals. Our company is about 330 FTEs. There are so may EHRs out there now it is hard to keep track of them.
