Check your state laws. That could be against the law to use solar power.

Had our hottest day - 111F - since Aug 2011 on Monday (thankfully, I was in MN). While in MN I heard that some sort of sign literally caught on fire in Austin due to the heat. Probably cause of this article: https://patch.com/texas/southaustin/...one-particular

The actual cause was from the workers trying to remove the sign using a blowtorch as stated here: https://www.kxan.com/news/local/aust...tin/1318258294

In other news, a hay bale did spontaneously combust.

You can see a Butte in the Distance. Can see for 50 miles from there.Good strategetic location.
The other two pics are on the Butte looking into draw.
This is on a cattle ranch.
August of 1864 Sully's advance Scouts who where Arikara are killed in the draw. They are killed by Lakota.
They are buried by the rocks.
This is one of many skirmishes to come.Sully had cannons and used them .Just a few medal markers to mark what happened.
Interesting place that a tourist can not acess.

Awsome! I absolutely love history!! To tie this to your Art thread, did you know that Sully was also an artist?

its a waste of time and money. corporate life is the dumbest fuckin things on this planet. we spend more time in pointless safety meetings than work and they wonder why we are always close or behind on deadlines

I'm fortunate in that my particular org is genuinely trying to use corrective actions the right way. While it's a pain in my *** that some of them seem to think that human error itself can be corrected through paperwork, at least they are actually interested in true root cause, not just as a sounding board. (We're also a very small organization by headcount, doing an outsized amount of business - small groups are easier to direct).

Hopefully all goes well

i said i'm 31 and an athlete....i'll be ok on 2 flights on stairs.
