Went to bed at 2am. Up at 8am. :icon14: I got to quit this chit. :shakes head:

You can send me money anytime you want to. I'm greedy and needy. :D

What kinda visits are those Jarblue??

How long do they take you to do them?

I do accessibility consulting at the moment. Texas has a program in place to ensure alterations and new construction for commercial facilities and public accommodations fully comply with the applicable accessibility requirements. I review construction drawings after design is complete and then I inspect the facility after construction is complete.

My fee schedule starts at $425 and goes up to about $1500 for inspections depending on the size of the project. They take anywhere from 15 minutes to 2+ hours. The fee covers my inspection and the written report plus some additional bureaucratic paperwork. I generally have to charge travel or coordinate multiple inspections for projects out of town.

The stuff I'm trying to learn is NFPA codes related to the assisted living and skilled nursing state licensing requirements.

When I do consulting for companies. It's 250 an hour, minimal 8hr day. Plus 300 per diem per day, plus travel. Busy time is spring and fall. That's when everyone has their outages.

I would get 100% of the fee. The fee includes the site visit, travel, and the time to write the report after the site visit. These visits usually take around 4 hours give or take, and the reports often take at least that long to write. Still works out to a pretty good payday

Vehicle inspection once a year. If you live in one of the 36 counties near Philly or Pittsburgh. You have emissions. If you live in the other 31 counties. No emissions. Temp wise. We avg about 6 days over 90F, and 10 days below 0F. And lots of twisty roads. :driving:

I find it hard to move out of this state. When I retired. We was looking for places to move to. We added up the numbers. And said it's not worth moving for what we have have.

Kansas doesn't tax my military retirement check

Gun laws...Constitutional Carry, no permit required to purchase :tup:

Booze: Well, good booze at liquor store, grocery store sells 3.2 beer... :ugh2:

Vehicle fees: meh... high when car is new, decrease down to lowest rate when car is 10 years old.

Temps: Well... ya'll might not like it here. It's farkin' hot right now, it's been 90+ with 70%+ humidity since it went from winter to summer...:eek:

NO EMMISSIONS or VEHICLE inspections EVER!!!!!! Only need VIN inspection when bringing in an out of state car.:tup::tup:

Here at hospital to do child interpretation, then check out status of gas gauge overlay from printer, go home and interpret for an hour in the phone and then go to the clinic at 4p for 8 hours.

Bingo. I travel all over the state doing it for 3 companies plus I work for Dell Children’s Hospital and Texas Children’s Hospital. Very rewarding job and you never know what you are going to walk into. I see the good, the bad and the ugly of both medical providers, patients and family members
