Do you have actual inspections or just emissions? If the latter, it'll be easy to pass as long as no CEL and car is in ready mode. That's how we do it in IL haha

Actual inspections. I've failed in the past due to old wiper blades leaving streaks on the windshield......

Nah. My city is just problematic for anyone with any "fun" being a thing.

New York? that sucks!!! (Although a part of me likes this given all the **** boxes on the road)

Can you get in good with a shop to "certify" you when needed?

I think I am going to take the Z out for a spin.

You can't get registration without an inspection now in Texas though. Are you unregistered?

I guess so? I've never encountered a cop that cared about anything other than insurance though. Inspection and registration are not hot buttons in my experience. Even if I get hassled for it (as in an actual ticket), it's just a matter of getting it taken care of and paying a $10 dismissal fee.

Not really. We had a crackdown here a few years ago on shops running stuff under the table.

I did last night. But I forgot I was down to nearly half a tank with broken top hat - fuel hiccup the first corner I tried to push out of :ugh2:

In month of so, I will get serious about fixing this stuff on the Z. CJM top hat and fuel starve kit and ZSpeed clutch kit to start with :)

Dont overlook the Holley mat too. If it works for you, it will save ya a few hundred.

The ones here are to busy driving drunk in squad cars hitting people and fleeing the scene. Or grounding boats from drinking all day. Or cheating on their 4th wife.

Is that what Z1's kit uses? I know there are a couple of options for less than half the cost. I've decided to send my money to phunk though.

What sushi to get for lunch. That is the important question of the day.
