Quick question here: replacing springs and when the dust cover was pulled out, the rubber cushion came out as well. Also a half of a what appears to be a plastic shin/washer fell out. But do I put that above or below the cushion. Thanks for the assist.

Judging by the service manual picture and looking at the line textures in the drawings, it looks like the orange is facing down and the washer is on top.

You are correct, the orange does face down. Also the black part sits flush inside the dust boot. This means the washer fits in one of the orange grooves, question now: which one? Dun dun duuuun :icon14:
