Las Vegas Meet, March 9th-11th

All right itcheZ! You know the deal, we've talked about it for the past month or two.

What: 1st Meeting Amongst Forum Friends
When: Friday March 9th to Sunday March 11th
Where: Las Vegas, NV
Who: Clifford, Jarblue, Hotrodz, Eastwest, Madwi, Pintsize, TTurbo, my apologies if I left someone out
Why: Because some of us have been forums friends for years and have never officially met

Most people will arrive on Friday, we plan on meeting up for dinner Friday night. I just found a fantastic spot for dinner.

Joes -- Seafood, Prime Steak, & Stone Crab
3500 S. Las Vegas BLVD
Las Vegas, NV 89109
(702) 792-9222

Please let me know if you disagree with this place, or if you know of another place even better  and we'll try an re-adjust.

As far as lodging, take care of it ASAP. I'm sure some of you guys/gals will be staying on the strip which is likely to be pretty expensive, as for me, I've locked down an AirB&B and will have 2 extra beds available, using Lyft to get to and from the strip.

Mr. Madwi will be renting a vehicle for the weekend. Tentative plans have us going to the Hoover Dam on Saturday the 10th, with the rest of the day open to do shows, concerts, gambling, etc.

Sunday the 11th, we're discussing taking a drive out to see the Grand Canyon, and having a group lunch. Sunday is also a travel day for some. I personally found cheaper airline tickets leaving on that Monday.

There are a few us that will be leaving early morning of the 12th (Monday).

Throw some ideas here, and we'll see you guys and gals on the 9th.

Peace & Love ItcheZ.
Rep wisely.

Scott sent an invite but woe is me. I'll be in Columbus. Maybe next time.

Go to Little Darlings for some lappy lappy dance!

Harrahs has one of the best buffet in vegas as for my opinion.
Grand Canyon is a long drive from vegas might as well see Red Rock.

Hoover dam is nice. EW try letting off some gas at the canyon see what happens! Lol

There's a few areas to see the Grand Canyon, I'll have to do some research so we're not over exerting ourselves.

I tried to actually work on moving the weekend but it seemed doomed from the start. I was really hoping you would be able to go Raf. I think maybe beginning of next year will be a meetup in Texas area. Trying to nail down dates with a bunch of people is terrible!

Im thinking something a little closer than the canyon. I like the Dam idea, I know Clifford was down to see that too.

We changed our itinerary to arrive on Friday, but we don't get in until almost 10 pm. Joe's looks delicious though; we may have to check it out ourselves if we miss dinner, which we almost certainly will.

Our only firm plans are concerts Sat and Sun night. Hoover Dam sounds fun - we've never been. I don't mind getting a car for a day if we need the extra room and the timing works out for our evening plans.

Jar we could always do dinner both nights, and do Joe's on Saturday, do an early reservation (a couple hours before your concert). I'll find something for Friday night.

We can do dinner at midnight, breakfast, brunch with mimosas, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, supper, whatever, we will make it work.

Joe's on Saturday would be great :tiphat: I'm definitely down for drinks Friday night, but I'm sure we will have already eaten by the time we get in. Brunch with bubbly is always :yum:

I put this on my calendar, but I'm not sure I'm going to be able to make it. Things are finally going well for my company and I'm hoping to be busier this year than last year. If I can go, it will probably be a 'last minute' deal. :/

JARblue 01-17-2018 01:23 PM

Looks like you can hit up EW for a bed if you need it
