Actress Brittany Murphy Dies
 

Not as big of a name as some of the recent passings, but still worth a post.
Brittany Murphy died of cardiac arrest early Sunday morning, according to a report by TMZ. The actress was 32.

It is reported that a call went out to 911 from her Los Angeles home at 8 a.m. Attempts to revive her were not successful, and she was pronounced dead upon arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

In addition to The White Hotel and Clueless, the Atlanta-born Murphy costarred in 8 Mile and Riding in Cars with Boys.

In May of 2007, she married British writer-director Simon Monjack.

Apparently the drug problem was pretty bad... Sucks to see someone so young throw it all away. Life is great after 30, after 40 is TBA.. Too bad she won't see it.

Cardiac arrest at 32 is not as impossible as people would think. It could have been a precondition that she had which could have been brought on by her lifestyle.

I saw a guy die at an intramural b-ball game, and he was only 33. When I was at an academy training a couple of years ago, a 36 year old US Marshal in training died on a running trail.

Life sucks. Gotta live it like today is your last day.

RIP Brittany. I always liked her.
