LOL, I applied for a position with Pheasants Forever in late December and my buddy told me they did not consider me because my asking salary was to high and I was like wtf, the salary I asked for was a significant cut in pay from where I am at now and I probably would have gone lower. Nonetheless, I have never heard from them even after prompting by my friend that was at the time one of their Western State Director.

You're far from alone in that regard. Apparently asking for 50k for my services was way to much for a manager position..... But they want'ed 10+ years experience with MS XP!!!

No patchouli this time? ;) I hear you guys on the pay scale thing. The company I work for now is the first company that has not only 1) paid me more than I asked for and 2) given me yearly reviews and raises ranging from 8% - 10%. It's a smart move on their part. When recruiters contact me (and they do, often) it makes it fairly easy to say no. Unless they offer me a Quality Director position... that'd make me consider it.

I actually dont mind the smell of them, in little amounts.

Far to sweet smelling and the worst aftertaste more than a day later.
