Bought a ps4 years and years ago. Decided to blow the dust off her and download Gran Turismo 7. The "ultimate racing simulator" for PlayStation Systems. Was worried it was only going to be worth it for the PS5 but I was wrong. It is fantastic on the old system. Blows my mind how photorealistic games are...even on a 9 year old system.

I am seriously addicted to GT7 atm. :bowrofl:

You know the addiction is bad when you're going through your day to day work duties and can literally hear the menu music playing in your head. :icon17:

GT7 and Dying Light 2 consumes most of my free time. Husband builds games and I just play them…I think he’s more productive lol

I played Red Dead Redemption 2. What a great story line! The environment is absolutely stunning! The controls were pretty easy to learn. I just didn't like how many ways you could craft things which was a bit confusing.

I'm looking forward to the Resident Evil 4 remake.

My biggest complaint about the Red Dead series was how tiny the aiming dot is. Got really frustrating not being able to see it sitting 2 feet in front of a 72” TV.

I will agree agree that it’s a stunningly beautiful game with a great story, but the aiming mechanism (and the crafting) where a deal breaker for me. Never finished it.

As far as RE4, it’s probably in my top 3 games of all time. Especially when you beat it and play a new round with the unlimited rocket launcher! I still think the first RE was the best. Even with the tank controls. I felt it added a ton of tension to the game and there was nothing like it at the time. It was the original “surviver horror” game and while dated graphically, it still has the best puzzles and story line. I still play it today.

As far as favorite game of all time, I’ll have to go with Zelda: link to the past. I thoroughly enjoyed Breath of the wild and still play it regularly, I liked the linear game play of find a dungeon, get your prize and unlock the next adventure. Open world is cool, but I still like the old school Zeldas.

I did enjoy Resident evil 7 and 8 too. My only dislike was the first person view and it looks like RE 9 is going to be first person too. I’ll still buy it the day it’s released.
