Not only that I F'up the delicate threads within the caliper and now its got air in the brake system. Looked online to see which brake caliper it has to replace it myself...since its a euro car their is nothing designating it to the particular model I have and there are three different types of calipers with no physical picture of any of them, and absolutely no part number on the caliper...Also since its a euro car I find out there is some special machine you need to hook it up to...to get all the air out...
I decided fuk it... dropped it at the dealership...bye. Let them piece it together...I would rather pay. I will stick with Japanese and America cars...:shakes head:

How do you like the SC?

madwi 05-26-2017 01:30 AM

Did you get the Air to air setup too?

So far so good after replacing the bearings. Somehow I'm only seeing 7psi even with the Si impeller so I'll have to either pressurize the system or smoke test for leaks. Should be seeing 10.

Roasting the 345 drag radials as it is though. Need to air down and retard the launch control some more. 3500rpm is clearly too high. Will get it dialled soon enough

Yep. That's what took so long to get otherwise car would have been on the road long time ago and I wouldn't have missed two events already.

Still a bunch of work to do before hitting the airstrip for a 1/2 mile run. That's going to be a fun one. Can't wait! :D

madwi 05-26-2017 03:04 AM

Any idea of what kind of numbers you are putting to the wheels? What do you hope to hit @ 10psi?

Happy "My plane was broken in Tulsa and my second plane was delayed and I had to spend the night in Atlanta unplanned and am getting home 1 day late" Day

onzedge 05-26-2017 04:38 AM

This is what happens when an American Airlines mechanic tries to reset a reverse thruster sensor on a Delta aircraft and breaks it instead.

500ish

Hoping to hit 550 when it's all said and done. Will see what happens. All depending in the tune now.

Greetings from ATL -- actually the Delta Sky Club in Concourse B at Hartsfield-Jackson.

I am in First Class on a Boeing 777 for my flight to CA -- I guess it could be worse.

Yes they do.

I went through security at 6:20 AM --- it was packed!!!

Well, not for me. I went through the CLEAR Pre-check. I showed only my fingerprints and boarding pass and was through to the other side in about 4 minutes.
