I was going to suggest exactly that :icon17: Let me know if you want them and I'll just have them change the shipping name and address. I can't even install them until I get another ride.

Mine was a 'go-on, stay on' lights. I had made a right turn onto a road that had recently been chip-sealed... (That stuff should be outlawed :shakes head: ) when the lights came on and stayed on. I checked the forum for reasons, and after checking the fluid, jacking up the car and inspecting the tone rings for debris, I took it to the stealership. They hooked up Consult and said it was a wheel hub. I let them do it because I thought the bearings were pressed on, little did I know it was an assembly. :owned: I ordered another front hub off of Amazon (after using the auto parts store computer to get the Beck-Arnley number) and ordered a pair of rear hubs at the same time. I should be good on wheel bearings for a while.:tup:

So Visa refunded my girlfriend the $4,000 on her credit card from the IRS fiasco.

Her bank (NBT) will not refund the $1,000 surprisingly since she authorized the transactions herself regardless of not knowing it was wrong. Any of you guys know of any recourse she could try?

Best I told her was to call the fraud center directly and tell them to look over all of her past transactions. It will show long standing faith and integrity. If they still refuse, I told her to demand her account be closed and she withdrawal all her money asap and go to a credit union.

Local TV station maybe? Sometimes the flood of bad publicity 'helps' a bank do the right thing.

Ahh that moment when the quality system that you wrote passes another major audit with no findings, in front of senior management! :excited:

So tired though. This stuff stresses me out every time, no matter how well it goes. It's the one thing I don't like about working as a quality manager for a technical products manufacturer.

Doubt it would help in this case. I have her filling out paperwork for consumer finance and the federal reserve. Also making her write a physical letter for her bank via certified mail since they then have to handle the dispute differently.

Argument will be based on the fact that NBT failed to flag her card the moment $1,000 was spent outside her normal area and contacted her. She had to personally contact them to reverse the charges and they failed to do so.

Metaphorical gun to her head, money taken illegally, bank won't help.
