I have really enjoyed my Homelite (From Lowes?). Honda motor on it and it fires up on the first pull almost every time. MTM foam cannon off amazon and youll be all set.

Gallon sized soap jug. megs Hyper wash or Duragloss 902. Both have good suds that stick. You will still need to be careful and go over it with a wash mitt to remove all the dirt though.

Just go over with a mitt and then remove bottle to rinse everything off at low pressure? Followed by leaf blower to dry everything. haha. I'll order one of those cheap greenworks for this. I don't need anything fancy. Strictly car use.

your process is correct. no idea about the greenworks things, I just picked up half a dozen Dry me a River towels and I use the air compressor to blow out all the hiding water, which is a lot :icon17:.

Leingod 07-28-2017 08:37 AM

Was also going to try a bottle of this

Leingod 07-28-2017 08:47 AM

#3 is what I might have been thinking of. Old age and lots of. Numberrs can be a bad combo :icon17: and yeah you can wax after.

Another job interview on Monday. hahahaha

b15 07-28-2017 09:29 AM

Have to love craigslist. Put the DD up for sale. First three texts offered me 50% of my asking. Fourth asking a civic trade + cash. Clever responses were sent :)

Good luck!

I've been thinking about getting back on the market as I'm not sure I landed in right culture with my most recent change. Only problem is I've only been here for 5 months, so that could look a little weird when applying.

That's ridiculous :rofl2: I'm trying to sell some guitar pedals and most of the responses I get on there are basically asking if I'd practically give it to them :gtfo2:

Yeah. I always inflate my craigslist pricing because of this. But 50%? That's just plain stupid.

First response I lowered it $.01.
Second one I raised my asking 5%.
Third one I replied asking if he could read.
Fourth one I said I would gladly trade for his civic + cash on his end if it was a 2018 Type R. Let's make the deal today!

:rofl2:

Jayhovah 07-28-2017 09:49 AM

Well played =) I am one of those craigslist low ballers... have scored some sweet deals that way =) Sometimes people do get mad though.. I appreciate the humorous responses =)

Leingod 07-28-2017 09:54 AM

I don't bother to lowball people. Give me a fair price and I will play it. I don't need to play haggling games.

Yeah. I never get mad, I just know the majority of low balls I get aren't even serious so might as well have some fun.

When I sold my old DD back in 2015, I got a low ball, which I responded similarly with a $1 decrease, but he responded back with a more reasonable offer and I ended up selling to him!

LOL Sometimes you just have to tip your cap and accept a good deal =)

My craigslist lowballing netted me a spare pair of headlight assemblies for $125 Prior to that I was too chicken to open my own head lights, and too cheap to send them to a pro.... Now I can experiment on the cheap...

I still want to know what the hell he uses to have water literally dissipate from the car. It doesn't even bead. It just runs off immediately.

Madwi is basically a clone of Junkman on here. He knows the ins and outs of detailing to the finest of degrees. He has single handily made me overly neurotic when it comes to washing my car now.

eagle edgeless mf towels

griots quick sprays

four star sealants

DA polisher with enough pads to control a red river

specific patterns, wait times, and drying techniques

That is a tough spot for sure, but as long as your whole work history isnt changing jobs every 5 months, it wont look bad. For the most part, places understand if you just dont fit into a place and need a change.
