eastwest2300 07-21-2017 09:12 PM

mr. madwi and I just finished up working on both of my cars...

eastwest2300 07-21-2017 09:13 PM

to say we're both extremely exhausted would be a complete under statement..

eastwest2300 07-21-2017 09:13 PM

everything from it being hott as ballz outside, and us sweating like dogs... the conditions were brutal.

eastwest2300 07-21-2017 09:15 PM

we did an oil change and a tire rotation on my Infiniti QX70.. then we did an oil change on my Z, ran into an issue with the oil pan drain nut... moral of the story DO NOT buy cheap drain plugs on eBay.. they DO NOT last.

eastwest2300 07-21-2017 09:17 PM

so after a couple trips to the parts store.. Im back to an OEM plug.. no more BS.

eastwest2300 07-21-2017 09:19 PM

so after the oil change, I flushed my power steering system with some redline ATF.

eastwest2300 07-21-2017 09:22 PM

tomorrow, we're gonna flush the radiator.. then do a sea foam treatment in the oil and vacuum lines.. and a BG44k in the fuel system..

eastwest2300 07-21-2017 09:23 PM

then I'll be all set... and ready for my road trip to tallahassee..

I hate when I wake up out of dead sleep with thoughts like that.

JARblue 07-22-2017 01:58 AM

lol I sat up so violently with the thought that I woke up my wife who thought something was terribly wrong.

I didn't give her the details ... wondering if there's some way I can finagle a CJM kit out of this :rofl2:

:icon17: I take it the credit or bank statement has not shown up with the fly fishing rig on it yet? :icon17:

JARblue 07-22-2017 02:02 AM

Correct ... she has not looked at the credit card statement in at least two days. That or she's seen it and just didn't care :crossfingers:

Thinking of removing rust from the undercarriage and applying rustoleum and or truck bed liner.

Leingod 07-22-2017 10:17 AM

Here ya go EW. I bought mine in Sept of 2015. It hasn't been removed since and I've done multiple oil changes since.

Think it's worth the hassle to buy this and have shipped? I'd have a shop install it.

Shouldn't be hard to correct the bend, but still an extra cost. Plus shipping might be

What you pay for all of it in the end may not be worth it. If it was being picked up I'd say sure. But that just my two cents.

I priced out brand new from FI and it's in the $1400 range before shipping. Doubt i'll ever see one cheaper than this as well. I could get this and finally get tuned.

You think shipping will be that crazy?
