What is the best / easiest photo hosting site?

Just strictly speaking for use hand-in-hand with this forum.

want to be able to insert photos directly into posts, not having to attach them and have you guys click on them at bottom of posts.

I like how you guys can just make a post and the picture is LARGE right in the middle of the post, not making others do any extra work by clicking stuff.

which site is best? photobucket? flickr? etc...???

help a newbie out.

I tried just {insert imaging} directly from my instagram but that didn't work.

Personally, I've always had good luck with flickr. I originally used photebucket but found flickr to have a faster and smoother interface.

I've used a paid imageshack account in the past, however on here I just use the galleries. If you copy the URL address of the image in the gallery you want just change the Extension from HTML to jpg and it will insert the image using [img] tags.

Random image inserted from one of my albums here. If you quote it you'll see the code where I changed the Extension from HTML to jpg and that's it.

If I dint change it it will just give a link like this: http://www.the370z.com/members/chase...-img-3442.html

or just upload in ur albums page here and [img] [/img]

Kenchan. All I see is a broken link.
I have used Photobucket for years. Most of my fly tying and fishing pics are there. The drawback to PB is its lack of security. I found my pictures on some random site selling "stock" photos. The site was in BFE somewhere, so it wasn't even worth fighting.

huh? no, click ur user CP and u will see a link to your album page. upload picts dere in ur user pictures & albums, link the pict using the [img] [/img] or the image button.

crazy4oldcars 04-20-2017 07:56 AM

Of course, this is in Tapatalk. That might make a difference.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...6b6631ec5d.jpg

**EDIT: Went and looked at it on my work computer. I don't even see the broken link there, just the [img] brackets.

**EDIT AGAIN: I see what you did. there isn't actually a picture there, just the img brackets. Forget I said anything

Well there's your problem. Tapatalk is stupid. It is so bad that I'm actually upset I spent $2.99 on the full version.

But yeah, Kenchan has the right idea. Create an album here on the forum with your photos. Then you can use the [IMG] tag or the button to embed the photos in your post.
