That's how it was last year here too. Basically downpoured for June and July. If I wasn't willing to drive the Z in the rain it would have basically been parked for two months - and our summers are short enough as it is so wasn't about to happen.

I like bluegill, they are fun to catch, look good and eat a metric crap ton of mosquito larvae in the pond. :tup:

that has to be one of the single most important factors in having a pond... mosquito munchers!!

I am not a big fan of eating them. I am more of a walleye and perch kinda guy.

If the pond is still there in my backyard when I get home tomorrow, I am stocking it with crappies.
