yah, ive been using da same Griots one (accutire rebadge) for like da last 10yrs. changed batteries maybe 3-4x already. :D

kenchan 03-19-2017 03:01 PM

oh yah, i found da lost safety glasses yesterday.. :ugh: it was on top of the box of funnels i use for oil changes. i keep the box on the top shelf so i didnt see it.

when i pulled it down yesterday to do the oil change i was like found it! but den :ugh2:
now i got 2 pairs. :rofl2:

kenchan 03-19-2017 03:02 PM

i use da ones with LED's on the frame. very useful when i need a 3rd hand to hold a flash light.. :ugh:

kenchan 03-19-2017 03:07 PM

so dis pm i had my older kid help me break down some hugearse boxes for my musical instruments to make room for wheelsets. my right arm is useless right now due to serious painus so he did 99% of da work.

he even moved and stacked my OZ wheels (with DWS06) off da GTI. :p now i can ask him to move the snows and summers from da basement to da garage starting dis winter :woot:

not sure if he's ready for the Z's wheels though.. GTI wheel set are super light.. 17lbs for the wheels, 24lbs or something for da tires. 41lbs-42lbs range. Z wheelsets are about 10lbs more and bigger so.. :ugh: plus stair case..

fujimura makes some really nice bits. i have deir CF rear valance and the axleback. perfect fit, also sounds good.

on my ride i decided dat my headlight could use a little tone down so ordered some tint/clearbra.

i also decided, after doing da oil change yesterday, dat my Z is still in like-new condition top and undercarriage so will keep her a couple more yrs. im on my 8th yr. last car i sold waz my G35C which i owned for 12yrs so i might end up doing a repeat. :D

i checked out da abarth today (some kid down da street got a new red one so checked it out).

it's cool when u see dem on da streets, but up close im not sure i can like it. da panel parting lines are like off by a few mm, da interior looks like a toy (in a bad way). i mean a cooper-s interior is fun looking and shouts quality, but nothing like dat in da fiat.

definitely NOT worth selling my Z to make room for it. :ugh2:

kenchan 03-19-2017 03:28 PM

think im just going to get me a diecast and keep it in da garage. den i can keep my Z and also have an abarth!

:rofl2:
