I'm having a hard time justifying an LED tv right now after seeing an LG OLED in action side by side with the Samsung KS9000 series.

We run LGs at work and they are on 24/7 for the most part. Very few early deaths.

last time I went 4 years ago it was $4,000+. Crappier hotel, crappier flights, and was only 1 day longer staying.

Jetblue is just having really good deals right now. $2,000 for hotel and flights. Flights are non-stop and arrive before 11 AM. Still gives us basically the whole day to explore. Departure is at 8 at night so it also gives us the whole afternoon to do whatever. And we are staying at the Disney Swan hotel. Absolutely gorgeous hotel plus free upgrade to resort view so we can watch the fireworks over epcot every night if we wanted.

For comparison. A girl here is going next week with her husband. 2 night only and 2 days at the park. $2,400 total for them.

that's expensive... you can go to mexico and stay at an all inclusive hotel for less than that. but i get that disney is an experience. they could at least include free lunch or something

It's def expensive. Without a doubt. But you're correct that the experience is completely different from other vacations. That price gets you the safe fact that you'll never even see a melted piece of gum stuck to the floor in any of the parks hahaha

Fak! Power on, interwebs service out

Disney ain't cheap, and neither is the Swan! Have fun! The girl and I have season passes and go all the time... I'll be sure to say hi if I see a unicorn blowing rainbows out it's a$s on the teacups.

yeah definitely a whole different ball game than other vacations. just feel that they should include more in the price :D

SW Michigan is beautiful by the lake. We go there all the time for weekend getaways in the summer.
