I only have a 240GB SSD. I need more.

ssd's are imho unreliable unless mostly used for read-only. id get an external HD for ur extended storage needs.

Off today to start shopping for furniture and picking paint colors with wifey for my son's new townhouse. Making a sizeable donation to the furnishing project as his graduation present (graduated in 2015) and recognition that his 4 year college career didn't cost me a cent due to scholastic scholarships and him being an Eagle Scout.

Oh to be 24 years old again and be in the financial position to buy your first home. Hard work and serious saving pays off.

It helps when he has a reliable role model ;)

Extended storage is most definitely NOT the SSD strong-suit. But I've been extremely please with OS drive performance running 80-500 GB SSD drives from 3-8 years old on a variety of machines both personal and business with only one issue. And that drive was under warranty (Acronis image backup worked wonders for transferring old to new).

Wife has brunch scheduled tomorrow. I think I'm going to go play a nearby, very technical disc golf course that is especially tricky after rains (it's been raining all day :D).

Yah I still rely on HD's for extended storage. Ssd's great for fast os operation and especially playing my huge virtual piano files for my music playing fosho but not fully trustworthy for daily repetitive saving of work files.
