Have you tried hitting the flame sensor lightly with a piece of fine sandpaper? Or a Scotch-Brite pad?

yah, been getting a single blinking LED.. thing is an old pos from da late 90's so who knowz..

we had a power outage earlier in da week where the temp inside da house went down at least 6F. from dere the furnace has been struggling to get back up to da temp i had it set at since its been pretty cold again outside.

it seems it over heats and shuts down before it can finish getting the hauz up to temp. the flame sensor was kinda dirty though.. its now within 2 degrees of the temp i had it at. hopefully i can get da thing to stay.
