Loading up on throat drops and meds and ginger pear tea. Getting sick....

man, it seems everyone is getting sick. everyone i know seems to be coming down with something

I have somehow dodged it for the past month. Everyone at work was sick. Seems my luck has run out.

as a precaution i took a shot of mucinex this morning. i haven't been sick in god knows how long (knock on wood)

I'll be stopping by the drug store after work to get some mucinex, zicam, or theraflu. I'm not playing games with this. I can't afford to get sick right now.

mucinex works pretty good and doesn't taste that horrible. that have the new cooling flavor one.

Mernin'. I just realized something. People think I'm too patronizing (that means I treat them as if they're stupid).

Except they're stupid and wrong. It's not patronizing if they're actually stupid.

Then it's simple observant.

State inspectors here in Texas do that all the time. They hardly know the code at all, yet talk like they wrote the damn thing. Hand them the code book and it's like they're trying to breathe underwater or something. They can't understand the code language and don't bother to try, and then they spread misinformation between themselves :shakes head:

Yet we're patronizing when we try to explain the code they obviously do not understand to them in order to save our clients tens of thousands of dollars in construction changes because they are requiring something that isn't required by the code :gtfo2:

Well, it's one thing if you're insulting them :icon17:

I'm accused of that all the time, that was my ex-wife's favorite thing to say. Problem is, most of the population is stupid...... :ugh2:
