so i decided if im getting a macbook pro, im getting the last gen version without the faking touch bar and has ports. and use it for like 5yrs.. lol

i go through pc laptops every 2yrs.

the 2011 macbook pro i have works flawlessly.. but den its for my music (DAW) so dont want to move it around.

each time i power up the software it asks "where da faq is ur hardware dis and dat? use internal hardware? :confused:"

da only reason why im still using a faking thinkpad is cause its free.

yah, wife brings home dese scrap computers from various clients but some of dem are still good. so she salvages bits and pieces off dis and dat computer and puts one together for me. and it works. and it works great. until microsoft comes knocking asking to update.. :ugh:

i suppose if my wife isnt so busy all da time she can fix it for me all da time. but mang, i really dont know SHITT about windows so im like having to have to ask her each time thing starts getting buggy.

:icon17: One of my co-workers does that. he salvages everything I toss into the recycle bin. He frankensteins everything together and gives em to his kids, wife or who ever is in need of a laptop. :rofl2:

i guess the reason is because i stop updating the OS at some point dat gets closer to the limits of the processor. den i just dont update it and use it as is.
