Mernin' folks.

Sexy Z people.... Question. Mrs. BoneZ' boss drives a 2007 Nissan Nismo edition pick-um-up-truck. She's saying her battery light is on and her brake light is on. The truck is running, but has "no power to go." Any ideas?

Bone Z is that a trick question or really ridiculously funny in your face brake lights on question? Lol
And thank you for the sexy comment!

Rep on the way!

No it's a serious question. I already asked her if the e-brake was on and she said no. That was my first thought. Am I missing something? It is early and I haven't had my coffee yet.

Nothing beats my wife calls me in the mid afternoon crying like she won the oscar awards. Saying she almost died as the truck suddenly sputtered and died in the middle of the road. And tells me the gas light has been blinking!!!

Then I asked her did you put in gas along the way? And her response was do I have too??....goodness one of the reasons why the divorce rate in the US is high!

You said the brake light is on. I presume the E brake is engaged thats why the truck wont go forward even its running. You sure your wife knows what a e-brake?

My wife does, yes... but this isn't her asking, it's her boss, so who knows. Mrs. BoneZ is on her way now to see if that's the problem. I didn't know what else it could be. Didn't know if the combo of the brake and battery light was Nissan in some sort of throttle safety mode. My Camaro once did something like that when the TPS went out. It flashed some combo of lights and continued to run at idle, but wouldn't rev up.

^ for BoneZ oh I see...first time I heard of that as being a safety mode. But Im pretty sure she doesn't know the ebrake is engaged otherwise Im dumb founded what could that be. Do you have a OBD reader to diagnose?
