Seems like just yesterday I was 40, compared to 55, 40 was cool, especially since I could pass for 30. But now? I am starting to realize I am getting up there. Oh well, John Travolta 55, Pierce Brosnan 56, Bruce Willis 54 ......... not too bad of company :p

No but I'm boycotting walmart for the rest of my life b/c they tried to take my ID away and I had to call the cops to get it back. I even have my CCW and you have to be 21 to get that....:icon14: Not to mention I worked concerts and events where I was the ID expert....idiots...

Hey man, don't knock it!!! I got carded at clubs until I was 30. It probably means you have a young looking face, which means when you get older, you'll look younger. (I've been dating a 37 year old, not too shabby for 55  )

My little bro is 4 years younger than me, played in the adult (18+) hockey league with me a few times and kicked *** at 15 and 16, and has been drinking in bars since he was 16, and he looks like he's 35:roflpuke2: We have an older brother that's 36, they look closer in age than I do to my younger bro...

The Strat was custom built in 1989 to "pre CBS" standards, basically an early '60's version. It is typical of a guitar used in that era though as far as electronics, humbucker in the bridge and neck, second position wired as two single coils, locking tuning keys...... but it is a great playing guitar, I never use it anymore. My Les Paul is a 1975 standard, can't play a Gibson anymore, my hands are so used to a Fender neck now. I play the Tele exclusively now. It's a 52 reissue that's been modded, Harmonic Design SD 90 pickup in the bridge, a P-90 clone that looks just like a Tele bridge pickup. The neck pickup is a Rio Grange Muy Grande, sounds liks a Strat Neck pickup. A no-load tone control and capitor and resistor across the volume so the high end doesn't roll off when the volume is cranked down. It's a blues/rock beast....... my main axe now.

John
