Next big thing?! New kind of floor mats!

So ran into these while browsing around. These look pretty amazing and look like a quick, easy, and cheap way to make any car interior look aftermarket/luxury. It's part of a kick starter project but the goal is already met so it will be made soon. Here's a link so you can check it out yourself.

I really don't care for the way these mats look:werd:

I picked up the 3D MAXpider from Amazon. These are great mats, easy to clean and have a great backing that grabs the carpet so there is no slippage.

I've been using the Maxpider floor liners in my Z since March of 17. They look and function very well. However, I did black out the silver logo.

Are either of your cars manual? I just ordered the maxpiders and they're instructed for AT, but I'm pretty sure they should fit the MT. Let me me know! Thanks

Oh, and those floor mats are hideous lol especially in a Z

Zingston 08-03-2018 09:19 PM

Mine is an AT.

REVRAY 08-04-2018 09:39 PM

I am AT as well. I wouldn't think there is any difference in the foot area. Only fitment questions were related to coupe or roadster.

I agree. I'd think they're the same dimensions.

Thanks, fellas. Will confirm once I receive them just in case anyone else is wondering.

I think the picture does all the talking. I have no idea why people were saying they wouldn't fit for MT. There's no interference with the clutch pedal.

About the mats themselves: They're awesome. I've had weathertechs before in another car, and I think I like these better. They fit well, are less expensive and feel really nice.

They look like they'd work better than the weathertechs.. sorry boys, I know there are weathertech fans out there, I have the weathertechs in my Z and Infiniti QX, and I regret spending the money on over priced pieces of plastic that catch 60 maybe 70% of the dirt when the molds aren't an exact fit..

never again.

Have Weathertech in the Acura TL and Lexus RX350, agreed, never again. Also, your car is much cleaner than mine right now.

The above floor mats are overkill in every sense. Although I like my weathertechs, the mumbo-jumbo about them being precision laser cut is pure BS. They are overpriced and overrated.
