what are the pros and cons? over a regular tow hook

Should be able to tow the same as a hook. Just looks cooler imo. I guess over the long run, the strap would rub on the paint and eat away at it. Plus it's a strap and will probably fray or discolor slowly over time. I just have mine tucked into the grill. So no rubbing and still is noticeable.

I'm not to worried about chaffing. You can tuck the strap behind the grill. Still noticeable and protects the paint haha.
