In that order.

My issue is that my car would be outside with the sealant on it. I only use a car cover. Living in the city means no garage space. Think pollen or whatever would affect the sealant over that period of time?

kenchan 06-14-2016 07:02 AM

if pollen affected ur sealant, ur using the wrong sealant. :ugh:

use modern technology... Prima Hydro Max it's a full time sealant but in a spray n wipe style. cant get any easier. u can use it on glass and plastics too.

kenchan 06-14-2016 07:04 AM

so after applying hydro max, i only use the griot's brilliant shine wash. no need to reinforce using prima's regular hydro wipe and dry any more.

thing lasts forever too.. first app back in april? still going strong, no issue. car parked 24/7 outside.

Do not be on that list.

Pollen doesn't affect the car once clean. My question was if pollen, dirt, or whatever would affect the sealant while it is still on the car over the 24 hr period outside.

I do not want to "name names".

Nah, man. wash, sealant, wait 45 minutes, take off residue with a bit of QD spray if you want, wait 24 hrs, QD or wash if you are worried about being dirty, wax.

P.S. read the directions on the bottle :icon17:

:iagree:

one advise i would make is to use the same type of protectant each time. like if u are using polymer just continue to use polymer based products (including QD) and dont mix it with natural wax.

this way ur next app will reinforce the polymer and not make the product float on top of the wax. dat usually is da fastest way to wear away ur base protectant when u start mixing products. for concourse definitely use wax over polymer.

I'll get started tonight then! I'll just leave the sealant on for 24 hrs. I am curious now haha. Btw, we need to game soon. Did you see Sony's E3 conference last night?
