I give up. Lugs are basically welded on all 4 wheels. Regards at the dealership had to have torqued the living hell out of them when I bought the car. I can't get a single one to budge.

or are u doing the swifts? then loading on spring carrier might suck. :icon17:

Because the trolly only fits under the rear. It's to tall for sides or front. And I was to dumb at first to use the scissor per side.

kenchan 04-14-2016 04:47 PM

yah, u need to break loose the lugs while the car is on the ground. it's dangerous to loosen it while the car is in the air unless u have an impact gun.

those scissors jacks are pretty handy while in a pinch.

i actually use it quite often when doing sus mods to hold the lower arm in place while i raise it to bolt it up. unlike hydralics the foot print is small so easy to maneuver in tight space. :D

kenchan 04-14-2016 04:50 PM

on cars like the Fit, u HAVE to support the lower arm otherwise the cv joint gets undone. lol :rofl2: not sure how many times i explained dis to honda folks and they still manage to f it up.

Yes, I am trying to justify buying new wheels when the OEM rubber wears out... I may be subconsciously trying to hurry that situation along.

Leingod 04-14-2016 05:55 PM

Over 2 hrs to finish just the rears. Shredded 2 lugs that'll need to be replaced. At least they didn't strip. Even with a 21mm socket, they shredded the tips. Used a torque bar to break them loose. 80ft lbs to retorwue back on. What a freaking nightmare. This car is never easy.

Leingod 04-14-2016 06:20 PM

Quick test drive around town and a quick pull up to 110 resulted in no wheel shake or any noticeable wobble. I have noticed that the car pulls EVER so slightly to the right. barely noticeable. Turning left results in a noticeable feel of power. Turning right for the first 5mm is very light and almost floaty. Do I need to re torque something for the wheels because I don't remember it being like that before.
