What do you want me to get? Should I get the thing-a-ma-do that keeps the cooler bypassed until operating temp is reached? I have a birthday coming up, you know...

kenchan 05-08-2016 04:53 PM

i drove her Fit to the pastry, but mang this car is slow! :rofl2: especially cause it's 100% in dat 'economy mode' thing.. da car does not pickup speed. :ugh:

considering u dont drive ur car dat hard (per ur tire wear) just keep it stock. i dont run an aftermarket oil cooler and i DRIVE my Z pretty hard.

kenchan 05-08-2016 04:55 PM

unless u're consistently seeing temps 255F and above, no need imho. id probably swap just the oil more frequently in dis case, leave the oil filter on there.

I drive aggressively in sporadic bursts. Most of the time I'm just cruising or sitting in traffic.

yah, id definitely just keep it stock. probably healthier for ur oil and engine too cause those coolers will make it much harder to reach 180F in the winter too.

That's why I'd want to run that plate that doesn't open until it hits 180°.
