I get the idea of an electric water pump, but an electric alternator seems to be an oxymoron or a Rube Goldberg device... it creates electricity to power itself.... dumb... :icon14:


If he's worried about drag on the motor, how about an alternator that has a clutch? There are some on the market, I just can't remember what they are called or what vehicles they are on... :ugh2:
