And here I am wishing I owned a garage... let alone effing paint it!

Is the waterless wash worth it? Would make life so much easier since I only have 5 gallon buckets. No access to a hose or pressure washer due to the distance.

They sent in samples to the company to figure out what went wrong and they said you ****** up the prep work lol. It was only one place under the rear tires of the RAV4. Z never lifted any, truck neither.

If it is not too dirty it will be fine.

I tried this foam type in san diego. It did not come out the way I had hoped on a black car. For the NE, with all the shyt and salt I would not think it would perform as well.

I think if I used the right cloths then it would come out nice as most of the dirt in SD is desert dust. Oh and I forgot about that where I will be working all the eucalyptus trees have these giant egret birds nesting in them so as long as you don't park with in 50 ft of the tree line you are fine. :ugh2:

I could get a longer hose, but coiling it up afterwards would be a nightmare. It has to traverse my whole backyard and into the driveway which is behind a swinging wooden gate and fence.

I didn't think about the waterless. I know a guy who sells some pretty good stuff, Griots.:eekdance:

yah, main issue i had about living in socal was dat the public schools there sucked..little vandals everywhere too. and 60-120min commutes were considered 'nomal.' :icon08: wtf

yah, i use da griot's socw (spray on car wash). its good stuff and highly recommend it

if its just accumulated dust with rain water i use it all the time.

but as madwi posted, if u see tiny pebbles like debris on ur panels best u blast dat off with hose water first even if u use waterless wash.

i am EXTREMELY careful when i clean the gnosis as tiny rocks can scratch da finish. considering dat, and warmer weather, i just use a hose usually when washing the G if she's been driven in the rain.

yeah usually the prep work is where you can mess it up... had it in the old house and the first time it didn't dry enough and it started peeling then we did it again and it stayed on. pretty sure it's still there today lol

kenchan 04-28-2016 09:53 AM

hummm.. roads are finally starting to dry. think im going to pull out my G in like 30.. runa few errands and a quick drive to rid moisture in my exhaust..

Working on it. Just up and leaving isn't easy without some other job lined up.
