I now know what burping the coolant means!! One a 50/50 blend is added, turn the car on and blast the heat. With the funnel and coolant still in the funnel, it should burp out bubbles being flushed from the hoses.

a lot of folks use the pump dat pressurizes from the reservoir side. some just use gravity.. meaning no tools, just loosen the nipple and allow brake fluid to slowly drain out while u add new fluid. it works but will take a very long time to do.. :D and i worry the new fluid will absorb too much moisture while u have the cap off. |
i usually have my younger kid monitor the brake reservoir level while i do the extraction on the opposite side of the car. :D
