Well, brunch happened this morning, and I never made it to the test drive point. And then yard work happened, and now I'm at the office ... I hate trying to get everything done before leaving town.

Unfortunately, it sounds like the clutch isn't fully disengaging when I depress the clutch pedal. I probably need to adjust the slave cylinder mechanical linkage on my Z1 kit. I've got a buddy that is going to come by the house and check it out while I'm out of town next week. Then I've red eye home next Thursday night, so I'll make whatever adjustments are necessary on Friday.

kenchan 06-11-2016 03:48 PM

huh... i didnt knowz this until i tried just now, but if you flip your iphone up side down, siri will not run. :D this is cool cause i can make my ipod (across room) play songs via siri without my iphone (close by) doing the same thing. lol

You need rear camber arms at least.

Many people go with SPC, but pay the extra few dollars and go with SPL parts.

You may also need new toe bolts, but I was able to get mine in spec without them.

If you want to discuss this in person, PM me and I will shoot my number to you.

Or PM me your number.

I would post mien here but I do not want certain people to have it.

I am kidding.

No issues with the front? Factory shock/strut (whatever this car has) issues?

I was able to get my front in the specified alignment range -- mostly. I am at the limit on camber.

onzedge 06-11-2016 04:49 PM

Most people get away with not having to change out the front control arms.

BoneZ 06-11-2016 04:50 PM

And you're on Swifts...you have a quick pic handy?

I just did my car without toe or camber arms. The rear just barely make it within spec. The fronts are fine. Just pay the $200 and get the arms for the rear. I'll be doing it in the near future. As for the swifts themselves, they're amazing. And that's coming from someone who knows nothing about springs. Oh. And the drop is more than I originally thought. Just to give you a heads up. I scrap a lot now.

So last year my stereo system was my gift. Year before that was my Glock with mods. This year I'm thinking altitude adjustment.

Attitude adjustment is the gift that keeps giving.

The HD CMC is awesome. I mean I assume - I haven't gotten to break it in yet. And it pretty much looks the same. Black instead of silver. But internally it is much more robust. I can wait to test it out. Even now my clutch pedal feels like it has never felt with an OEM master. That includes stock clutch pedal and RJM clutch pedal.

Leingod 06-11-2016 07:04 PM

I made these things again. Making Mr. Carl proud
