I had some wicked good thai food last night. I had some mei fun with steak, and eel sashimi for an appetizer.

Leingod 06-07-2016 06:58 AM

It was raining. I took the Z into work. Haven't driven in over a week. Felt bad. Water spotted up nicely on the hood.

njobe89 06-07-2016 08:04 AM

so i was just reading an article that said by 2045 robots will replace humans for half the jobs that there are... if that happens, it will be anarchy on earth.

Leingod 06-07-2016 08:05 AM

So i made ginger white miso spaghetti squash for dinner last night. GF found the recipe. I added to much orange juice and grated ginger. balanced it out with half a bottle of siracha. Then I ate a bowl of chex cereal because it was sickening.

Oh!! So in a bout of boredness last night, I watched that new Netflix movie with Adam Sandler. Do It Over.

I was relatively surprised with it. Had a few decent laughs in it, was somewhat original with jokes, and kept me entertained for over 2 hours.

Leingod 06-07-2016 08:09 AM

I need some poo-pouri duedz. I feel a rumbly in my tumbly.

Leingod 06-07-2016 08:10 AM

Selling the Civic and getting a Volvo C30, Jeep Jeep, Volvo V70, or some rusted to hell truck.

Then in 2020 I will get a Model 3.

Leingod 06-07-2016 08:16 AM

Civic lease is done in August. Almost time!

I finally got my HD CMC :woot:

I really wanted to install it yesterday, but I need to do some maintenance on the slave cylinder first. I noticed the return spring was busted (not a big deal), but I also slightly stripped the bleeder valve. So I'm ordering replacements from Z1 and will do the CMC install on Sat.

Idk what most of that is other than the SC and MC, but it sounds like a fun project!!!

The return spring and bleeder valve are part of the slave cylinder (I have Z1's CSC elimination kit).

You'll spend more on the drive down than you'll save having a local competent shop do the work. Plus, I had help doing the original install and wouldn't necessarily want to do another transmission drop on jack stands in my garage. Maintenance, on the other hand, is easy. And the CMC is an easy install with the right tools

Leingod 06-07-2016 08:49 AM

Does anyone have recommendations on other cars I should be looking at when the Civic is finally gone? It doesn't need to be fast. Just reliable, easy to fix, and preferably something with hydraulic steering. Can't stand the Civic's electronic crap. All for under 8k roughly.

Current choices i am looking at:

Volvo C30
Volvo S60
Volvo V70
Jeep Wrangler
Chevy S-10
Cobalt SS/SC/TC
Some wicked old Subbie Outback

I'd just turn it into a vacation week. That's all. Still sounds like a nightmare and something I'd mess up very quickly though.
