Hi Dave my bro! well in the new STi i dont know exactly the limits on the stock block but when Subaru release the 5 doors Sti in 2008 the damn engine broke easy cause they change the damn crankshaft.... Then evryone who have a 08-10 Sti's change their crankshafts for the old 04-07 Sti and problem solve... after that Subaru fix that sh!t if i can remember... Anyway answer your question i have own a 2005 Sti (Bolb eye) and yes the car broke loool but after a year with the 400whp+ setup :p the i said fck this im going to build everything including the heads... I ended up ith a 500whp+ monster and then i sell it to buy my Z:wtf2:.

I post a video here in this thread... dont know if you see it :) In that race i have the stock VF39 with bolt-ons and 330whp & 370TQ

IMHO the Z is quite a looker, the STI for example will never EVER look as good as a Z. Resale value?? Different story lol

This was my STi before i sell it... after that they already have 3 other owners and one of them broke the engine and change the damn Enkei NT03 wheels for some fake Rotas :shakes head: everyone said that my Ex-STI never be the same as when i own it :( but everyone keep saying... "hey that was the car of carlitos_sti" hahhhaha!!! :owned:

Clever! I am going to do this vs. trying to hosing down the under carriage by hand.

It's finally nice out so I washed and waxed the wife's car and the dd. The Z is now the dirtiest car in the fleet, which is rare, but I'll wash it tomorrow.

kenchan 04-13-2016 01:58 PM

very impressed, carlitos! dayam, why did u sell? :icon17: i wouldve kept it.

yep, u dont need ramps for this, my car was already up so just used my firemens' hose to wash down the engine area first before doing the sprinkler. :D

just straighten hose down driveway, drive over the hose, hook up the sprinkler and just start the water and pull every min or two. :D

GJ on cleaning up ur wife's car and dd.
