It was actually pretty funny.

GM: "Mike MIKE THAT'S A ******* LIGHT POLE!"
Me: "Yes, Bill I'm very aware that's a light pole."

GM: "JESUS CHRIST"

I have never done a doughnut outside a controlled event. I have never done huge burnout outside of a controlled event either. Damnit!!!

Yet I have broken many OEM parts and boiled my brake fluid. I don't know if I've been smart or a big ole woossie.

Evening y'all. :hello:

I'm about to pull my hair out trying to find my daughter a decent and safe used car while sticking to budget. Looking primarily at Camrys, Maximas, Altimas, Accords, Civics, etc. She wants a sedan, so that narrows it down. I wasn't about to let her learn to drive a MT with my old Moostang GT, so it's gotta have an AT. I found a really clean 2010 Mitsu Lancer, but several people have told me to steer clear of that year. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good make/model that will run for a long time with regular maintenance that I'm overlooking?

stick with a civic...

easy to work on, and parts are easy to find, as long as you keep up with your maintenance, they'll damn near run forever.
