like get the wheels and tires (and maybe springs) first, then think exhaust mods. most often than not, people get side tracked and never achieve the actual part they really wanted. |
and never be totally satisfied with themselves. dat's a waste. a fun car should be fun.

Mr. Kenchan!!!
Be careful with the mods on the Honda, for the love of all that's good. http://i28.tinypic.com/fx8d4n.jpg |

You rich bastards get all the retirement and SS perks. My generation will be paying off debt until after we die. The new generation starting right now will have a (hopefully) far greater chance at living a debt free life as an arts major because my generation will fix most of the crap your generation broke. |
Now if you'll excuse me. i need to go post more x-rated stuff in my nsfw thread

My issue with what seems to be the current mentality is this whole "you owe me" attitude. You (I do not mean you specifically, Mr. Lein) want it? Earn it. Don't ask society and those who contribute to give it to you. |

At the same time, it was far easier for you, my dad, etc back when you guys were my age to have a better income. Nobody needed a bachelors degree to make enough to buy a house. Kids today are lucky to work at burger kind with an associates because so many of us have no experience for the jobs we need. The fact that my dad could buy a brand new Mustang when he turned 18 working part time at a steel mill speaks volumes. I was working full time at a lawfirm when I turned 18 and could barely afford a used Cobalt SS. Kids these days don't know what it means to work ahrd. Hell, I probably don't know what it means to work hard still. But it's also a lot tougher to get ahead in life with crippling debt for college degree that's 99% needed to get anything technical. Trade schools just don't exist like they use to. |

i know cause i have this kids college funds for my boys and it is fatter dan my wallet. |

The fact that you can buy a fit, STI, Z, and G though says a lot. I make a little over 50k yearly without overtime and i've still had a few occasions where budgets are tight. Nothing is "cheap" anymore. 30 years ago, 50k would buy basically a mini mansion. 50k now even in my city results in a low-tier apartment. No way should a ranch style house build in the 30's cost over 100k. |

meh, my cars are just normal folk cars.. and i live in a hut. it must be nice to be rich.. you know, like xip. :D |

it aint me saying to ur generation to work harder, im just complaining about them losers of all ages that cant seem to hold a job cause they keep flaking out as soon as things get a little tough. |
they continue to make bad decisions like helping the poorer than their poor arse which at the end, id have to pay for both their faking arses via tax.
help urself first, then help others. like the oxygen masks in planes.. :ugh: |
there was this one airhead lady dat work at my old place who had an airhead daughter. like mom like daughter.
the daughter made less than 20k a yr, lived at her parent's place yet she wanted to help the poor. helping the poor is great, but wtf girl, get a real job first and help urself first so dat u can help the poor. why does ur mom need to help u so u can help the poor? :rofl2: and this daughter was supposedly college educated. :ugh: |
If only we could all be like xip. Who drives his 911 while he's away though? Xip, I'm available for hire.....

I just find it sad that someone making 30k yearly struggles in today's day and age. We have all this advanced technical stuff, but fail at basic needs. Nobody should be paying 2k a month for a 1 bedroom apartment. People back in the 70s didn't pay those prices for mortgages on 2 story houses.
|
btw, i thought obama waz going to fix all dat for u guys 8yrs ago? :ugh:
|
I feel overly privileged just talking with you guys at times. Who the hell has 40-50k to blow on a stupid sports car in today's world? We are lucky in our own right. We worked for our cars. A lot of people have worked just as hard and still have nothing to show for it. If I even have a kid, I never want it to struggle the ways I had to in terms of financial success.

are there cheaper places in racoonville? i dont remember my younger friends telling me they pay 2k for rent each month.. :ugh: |
