for u computer guru's.. im converting DVD to mpeg4 for my 7" screen on my STI.
wat pixel size is good to use? i dont think i need the full HD file size...? :confused:

or do u recommend i do the HD 1280x720 ? :confused:

Have you looked up what the native resolution of the STI 7" screen is? I would just use whatever that is :twocents:

That should be a 720P screen so for a 7" screen that should be more than enough pixels. But that's half of the pixels of an ipad mini.

Yeah, it's not really worth making the video larger than it needs to be when the screen can't display the information. But if it does have a higher resolution, I like to go ahead and take advantage of that quality even on smaller screens. File size is rarely an issue these days it seems.
