Says the true-born gentleman ;)

I'm more like the red-headed step-child. Except I'm not a red-head; I just married one :yum:

I got my first noticeable chunk taken out of my paint from neighboring idiots just a few months ago. I thought about getting some aftermarket fenders to fix it, but that just means I might as well get a new front bumper (still happy with OEM) and an aftermarket hood with vents to fix all the rock chips :icon17:

Darn it sorry to read this today Mr James

My goodness

Thank you for your condolences. I have accepted the damage as a fact of life. I'll fix it when the car is no longer my DD.

It's like some truck door was opened over my fender and then the taffyapple weight in the car pressed the door down onto the fender. The wiggle pattern of the scratch is evidence of the struggle I'm sure they had getting their taffyapple rear end into a seat up off the ground.

This is why we can't have nice things :shakes head:

It is raining here. I drove to work with the windows down. Just have to drive fast ;)

Ok, lots of work to get done so I can leave early or at least get distracted early watching March Madness.

Texas Longhorns play tonight at 8:50 pm

Please enjoy your Friday, everyone. I hope 5 pm (or whatever go-home time is for you) comes quickly :tiphat:

The fact that i joined this forum a year ago and now use the term taffyapple in everyday occurrences speaks volumes of the influence you guys have had on me in such a short amount of time.

I will try with some #1 griots polish but I think its too deep. I will post up a pic when I take a break soon. :shakes head:

Ultimately I want to do a full bumper paint correction.

I'd pull a JAR and just get a new bumper. Still really sucks to hear MB.

What I find even more absurd is that you have twice the amount of posts than I do and I have been a member for 4 yrs.:bowrofl:
