Simple answer, no. I mean, you will gain a little but it is not going to put a real big smile on your face

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a replica. It's no original CF like Kernchans, but nobody should be able to tell once painted.

I read it was a slight HP bump, but much smoother power ratios.

Some, yes. With the high compression engine, Nissan has the tune super conservative. Drop in some R2C dry filters and I bet you get 10+ whp easy.

But the kicker is the throttle response. Night and day difference. Gotta go with Ecutek though. Uprev's throttle maps are barely better than stock from the several I've driven (won't deny it could have been the tuner though).

I just sent an e-mail asking about shipping prices. $220 for a replica isn't bad.

knockoff INGS+1 lip: $220 + Shipping $220CAD. So roughly $150USD since canadian dollar is in the toilet. (Sorry gale)

I haz some earn$pend to do

Leingod 03-01-2016 11:00 AM

Ings rep is $269 shipped brand new.

BoneZ 03-01-2016 11:22 AM

It's just my opinion, but I'm thinking if you are running a dog adoption service, perhaps a better picture might be more effective.

Should I order that rep INGS lip? Enough threads on here showing the nextmod site is decent and timely.

u mean like the real one on my car? if so, note dat the CF comes unfinished so u will need to get it sanded and clearcoated.

No. The knockoff from nextmod. I know a lot of people on the forum have gotten them. The real one is just to pricey for basically a cosmetic item. (Not that i'm dissing your real one.) Was just curious if $269 shipped is decent for that kind of replica.

Not everyone can go out and buy 40k STI's and modified Fits every other weekend Kernchan hahaha. A few replicas and people won't be able to tell the difference after some paint.

kenchan 03-01-2016 11:40 AM

hummm... speaking of which.. where the fak is my tracking number for the STI lip i ordered for my STI? :ugh:

no i just got the factory one as i wanted a small lip enough to lower the chin just a hair.

its my dd and i dont feel like getting too many custom stuff on there cause it will just lead to more attention i dont need and theft..

kenchan 03-01-2016 11:43 AM

not my ride but will look like this. (im not getting the sides or rear spats).

kenchan 03-01-2016 11:45 AM

and i dont understand people getting random springs to lower their STI's... wtf, just leave it alone. it drives very well in stock form.. and it's a faking rally car. rally cars aren't suppose to be so low.

You basically talked me into just getting WEDS instead of lowering. It's a clean look without much wheel gap at stock height.

yah, just make sure you get the right offset. hell if u were closer i couldve just sold you my set.

I run the 19x9 ET38 using a 5mm spacer on the front (make sure to use steel lugs like Muteki), and the 19x10.5 ET15 on the rear. 245/40/19 and 285/35/19 tires.

kenchan 03-01-2016 11:58 AM

i need more room for storage space.. to extend my RC track :icon17:

kenchan 03-01-2016 11:59 AM

i need to rid 3 sets of wheels right not to do the RC track expansion.. :ugh2:

kenchan 03-01-2016 12:00 PM

actually 4 sets if u include the old snow set coming off my wife's fit this weekend.

That's all easy enough. Def don't have the money for a new set right now. Figured that'll take place next winter. A nice front lip and spoiler for now though wouldn't hurt. i'm going to pull the trigger on that replica INGS front lip. Can't beat it for the price and everyone says fitment is perfect.

kenchan 03-01-2016 12:38 PM

if u ever plan on getting the weds the front splitter will definitely make it look nicer as it will give the Z's round chin a flatter more sportier look.

when i had just the weds my car was BEGGING for a splitter. with silver wheels the car does not shout as loud for a splitter though.

WEDS are a must. They're the only wheels i've liked so far. Forgestars look decent, but I love the concave look on the rears. If i could find some used side blades next, I think i'd be all done. Maybe eventually a carbon signal type N add-on for the stock spoiler.

Leingod 03-01-2016 12:45 PM

These..... yes please

http://www.the370z.com/tires-wheels/...lable-now.html

kenchan 03-01-2016 12:48 PM

yah, the only other wheels i like on this car is the nismo wheels. :icon17: haha

i know there are many choices out there, but they are usually the wrong offsets for stock ride and/or are boat anchors. :icon14:
