Did you clear bra the side mirrors ? or any body panels ?

What is the cure time needed ?

Thank you in advance

i only got the front bumper done on my STI. the shape of the car determines where the rocks would hit. the nose of the STI is high so i doubt much rocks would hit the forward part of the hood. i did not get the mirrors done.

on a sunny summer day i would say 4-5 days for full cure time. in the winter it can take as much as 3-4weeks, longer depending on temperature. :)

on my Z i did the front bumper, rockers, and the a-pillar. :) since u dd, i recommend you do the full hood too.

kenchan 02-26-2016 09:03 PM

initial cure time is about 3-4hrs under a heat lamp. usually by then u can drive the car through rain/snow with no peeling. i wouldnt wash the car for at least a week. no spray waxes or QD either during that period. :)

Honestly I've never seen in person or experienced cracked headlamps so it's up to you. Some folks on other cars have had lens damage from films (thermal expansion and contraction problems) so I'd be careful. This was from headlamp and fog lamp films.

True read that some Porsche owners learned the hard way :iagree:

Will try and plastic polish and a lite buff to remove the small chip out

I need some help adulting. If I'm not finance savvy (stocks, bonds, yadda yadda), would it be best to invest in a college tuition plan where I'm buying credit hours at today's rate? I wanted to do a 529 plan but I don't even know how it works or how to run it. Though I know the rewards could be better than just buying the credit hours.
