Those RC toys are soo cool! I like the cars, planes, jets, all of them. SOO COOL!! My brother bough a mini Drone and we crash it all around the house! I don't think I can have a big one.

You guys do lots of fun things. I do other things but I can't call them "hobbies." It would be a crazy time if we all met up with our toys and just played all day. Trucks running and climbing things over, people pedaling bikes for their lives as the motor bikers point, laff, and run them off the road, people shooting, hooting and hollering at thing, plans flying, folks fishing coral and reef fish out of an aquarium, runners running, climbers climbing, and so much more. Add some alcohol and I'm sure more than one will get hurt! LOL what a BLAST THAT WOULD BE!

Here are two of my big ones. I haul them in my work van.

Here is a CNN video about a project I am helping one of my co-workers with.

Always wanted an Extra 300 Giant scale! I've got a few planes as well. REALLY fun hobby!

The Extra 300 is my favorite plane. Powered by a DLE 111 swinging a 28x10 prop. The plane weighs in at 15lb and has 26lb of static thrust. Vertical climbs are out of sight!

Yes, it is a great hobby. I've been flying for around 40 years.

I don't think any of my planes have run in 2 years, at least!! I have Great Planes U-Can-do 3d .46 size I over powered by stuffing a .90 size 4 stroke motor in. The gas ones got to be to much of a production for me though to get out and fly. I was really enjoying launching a foam plane in my backyard and doing tricks with it there last I flew. I'll have to get on the simulator to polish up my skills again though! lol

For those wanting to get into RC planes, I HIGHLY recommend a good simulator as a first purchase.

Crap! I'm getting a foam plane up and running this weekend now! lol

We are about a year away from making this real! We have a couple of more flights to do to perfect the parachute deployment system and then we start on the full scale wingboard.

Wanna ride?
