i remember my $4000 roland keyboard i bought new broke like 2-3 days in due to an eprom issue. thing is a 85lbs beast, but luckily the store helped me by getting another unit from another store with a production lot number much newer than the one i bought.

lucky for me, its been working fine for 8yrs now. :p

Warranty ran out Oct of last year. It died Oct of this year. Panasonic didn't even offer to replace it at cost from me. I literally have a dead tv with a known issue that won't be touched. Recycling the damn thing costs $200 alone. TV is only 3 years old! Real ****ing cute Panasonic. It's times like these I feel like going on a corporate murderous rampage.

I might try to replace the boards myself. Ebay seems to have them cheap enough. I have no idea what I'm doing on the tv. So this'll be interesting. Enough threads online to see it's a known issue though. Found a few guides also. Hopefully $100 in parts fixes this. Vizio will be my next brand of tv. Hulagirl has me weary of samsung, LG is known garbage, panasonic can burn in hell, sony is overpriced, and insignia is best buy junk quality.

I would, but he'd find a way to sell it for more crack. I can't promote unhealthy drug use hahaha

at the current rate of new electronics coming out, i think 3yrs is a pretty good interval to replace it with a new one?

not dat i agree with wat panasonic is doing, but might be a good excuse to get u a nice new tv to replace?

kenchan 12-11-2015 10:38 AM

kinda reminds me of my faking LG washing machine... :ugh:

kenchan 12-11-2015 10:39 AM

Replace instead of last is rather sad. Especially for things in excess of $1,000. That's a lot of money for anyone every few years. Could be spent in other places. I'm going to try and fix the tv myself and see how it goes. I can swallow $100 in parts if they don't work. I'd go on a rampage if i bought another $1,000 tv to have it die in under 3 years.

yah, but if i were u not worth the hassle to be mad.

i kept the LG aka Large Garbage as i found a barbaric solution for it (place tray under leaking washing machine :ugh: ) but if not, i wouldve just bought a new one even if it was only a yr old and costs 1500 or watever.

kenchan 12-11-2015 10:41 AM

i hate dealing with stupid.

not to mention the pos MayTag fridge. every faking yr i need to de-ice the evaporator drain...otherwise water leaks out too.

I'm just entertrolling panasonic on their forms of social media. Keeps me from going ballistic over the phone on some random Indian guy. Next new tv will be from Costco since they have amazing warranty policies. This'll be followed by TONS of pictures posted on Crapsonics facebook page showcasing how a real tv should act.

All these companies have facebook, twitter, and instergram pages now. i'd start screwing with them. What's the worse that happens? They ban you? hahahaha

kenchan 12-11-2015 10:44 AM

so much for 'innovation' or 'state of the art' :ugh:

more like 'half-arsed' or 'start of the fart'
