not much. i do my own installs so watever it costs for the swift springs and camber/toe bolts u folks use, and $100-$150 for alignment.

Don't forget about the rear camber arms, unless those are necessary.

i checked out the sti and wrx this am. wrx is a better match for me as far as styling and clutch feel/weight. overall i liked it, the wrx has much better styling and wheels, interior was simple yet clean, not cheap looking or feel.

the only issue i have with these cars is that it almost seems like it's trying too hard to be the one car for everything kinda car. u now, for those folks dat can only afford one car.

i think im going to check out the Q50S AWD next week and re-visit Lexus afterwards.

yah, i run stillen camber arms on my lowered G with their helical ball joints, but it's not necessary as long as your toe is corrected within.

but if you lower ur ride ull want to get wheels too..

its a never ending process. lol

Stay safe!

The Z is the only car I've owned that isn't lowered. I knew the itch would eventually hit.

Edit: also the only car with it's factory wheels.

for a guy dat already has a Z, i think mr. jar's approach of getting the accord sport is a better choice than the WRX. not that im saying the wrx is lacking, it's just trying too hard to be both sporty and family. why not leave the sporty to my Z and G and let the family be family?

:icon17: hahaha. actually my Z is the only car dat hasnt been lowered. :D

im keeping her at stock height with the nismo wheels. only a tad stiffer front swaybar and RE11's added. she drives and looks perfect for me.

See, that's my only issue. I say the Z is the first car I've had without a modified suspension, but it's also the first car I've had where I've been happy with the factory suspension. I'm almost afraid of changing something.

yep, i'd leave it alone and get yourself some nismo wheels (or similar spec 19x9.5 ET40/19x10.5 ET23) and RE11's. call it a day. btw, i run the whiteline aka kangaroo bar (front only) but u can also get the stillen bar and just run the front in the med setting. should be very close to the kangaroo bar without messing with those shitty pos bushing/collars

kenchan 01-23-2016 01:31 PM

btw, my rear bar is factory. i do run the factory rear bar..
