good morning Fellow Z enthusiast! Home on a snow day again. 4 day weekend.

Masterbeatty 02-08-2016 11:18 AM

Geeeeezzzzzee, I just got a quote to finish my basement for $23k holy PHuck.

kenchan 02-08-2016 11:20 AM

goodam, or is it badam, not sure.. :hello:

yah, finishing basements is a pita. our house has the plumbing for a bath room and all, but never went forward with finishing it as its been our storage area. now with my rc track down there, probably will never finish it. :rofl2:

How many sq/ft? $23k is very reasonable around here. I would actually question the contractors abilities if they came in at that price to finish a full basement with bath.

JARblue 02-08-2016 11:31 AM

BFG sighting!

It's about 900 sq/ft. But only half is going to have drywall the other a workshop/ storage. Basically a center hallway with two rooms, one on each side. We are renting the house out soon and most of the comps have finished basements. Shitty thing is, that price doesn't include running the electrical or flooring. Smh.

kenchan 02-08-2016 12:00 PM

I suppose you can do just the wall panels to make it look nicer and leave the floor a sealed concrete. I'm sure renters can figure out a way to put areal rugs and stuff.

Closest person i know that owns a Z is 3 hrs away. I've only ever seen a single other 370 in my city and it was driven by some 85 year old who looked miserable.

It's a true form of fast food mexican food. TB is americanized. MT at least makes an attempt to add chili powder and jalapenos to beef tacos. Salsa has as kick to it. Burritos are just rolled messy tacos with pork.

yah, we have this misc fast food-ish mexican food but they taste so bland.. vs real mexican food. it's like rather have tacohell, or just spend the extra billz and get real mexican food.

honestly speaking, mexican food for 4 is not dat cheap.. :D it actually costs more than my chinese food take outs. :eekdance:
