I have a room booked at the main hotel. And it looks like we'll be attending a family wedding that weekend now. I haven't completely given up hope on going, but I might be able to change the name on the reservation if you need it.

Will shoot you a PM sometime today

Yup, I am turning in my vacation request on Jan. 2 lol.

2 day event? GF would def go with me. Driving the Z for that long wouldn't bother me. I just have no known "friends" and wouldn't know what to do at an event. Let alone a massive one haha.

Lots of people go for the whole week. I was planning on leaving the weekend before and getting down on Mon. Then stay for a week and leave the following Monday

Relax. Or drive the Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap. It's 318 curves in 11 miles.

I am planning on being there the whole week and should have about 10 pounds of polish kielbasa and sides overnighted for one of the dinners. God help us all if EW swings by for dinner that night :roflpuke2:

I'd maybe go for 2-3 days. A whole week would get a little boring I'd think. Friday-Sunday or some type of thing. When's the massive meetup thing? gah... i'm so freaking clueless about car events.

A week at home is boring. This is gorgeous country with great driving opportunities. I could live out there. I think stuff is mostly on Fri and Sat.
