I am not sure if we are staying with the RE 760's...

In a few weeks I am ordering Watanabe wheels. Likely, we are going 16 X 8.5 and we are working on coming up with the correct offset...

This size opens up significantly more options for tires.

kenchan 01-03-2016 07:59 AM

Re760 is a great tire though for cars with under 250hp. Good grip, but not excessive keeping things fun.

Haha, me2.... :icon17:

Started decaling a new RC body. Thing is intense even for an experienced guy like me..:ugh: no f-k ups acceptable!

Especially the curved lamps are exciting as heat gun app needed. :D

kenchan 01-03-2016 10:11 AM

Even after making 10+ of the same body, I still dread it.

kenchan 01-03-2016 10:11 AM

Only takes a crash to ruin it all too..:ugh:

kenchan 01-03-2016 10:13 AM

Obviously no kids allowed while I work on decals. :gtfo2:

Yah, wish they sold factory finished bodies here like I saw in Japan. It costs more but I don't care. Then all I do is apply clear bra on the most hit prone areas and done. :D

kenchan 01-03-2016 10:31 AM

Motoring my RC during decaling breaks. :D

With the new grippy tires I need to earn$pend on a stabilizer set.. Car sways too much.

BoneZ 01-03-2016 11:20 AM

Since it's my last day of vacation, I decided to freeze my fingers and wash the Z...to take Mrs. BoneZ on a hot date night. Can't hit the town in a filthy ride.

So I found this lotion you use while taking a shower. It rinses off while you're showering since I absolutely hate putting lotion on. i can't stand the greasy slick feeling. The stuff has been working phenomenally. No more dry skin, elbows, etc and not a single feeling of being greasy.

Kzonts 01-03-2016 01:41 PM

The wifey got a ticket for tint on the windshield so I removed the tint. It's not a fun job either :-). The fabric steamer didn't remove all the glue so I had to use a 4 inch blade to get the rest.

I also ordered some Hawk front brake pads and manual transmission fluid to refresh the tranny. The car has just over 13k and it's already developing some shaking during moderate speed braking. That certainly wasn't expected.

Do tell. I can't stand lotion either.

Nivea in shower body lotion. I found it in the cosmetics section of Walmart with all the girly lotions. It's a big dark blue bottle. I just do my shower gel first, wash that off and then use the lotion. Probably the size of half my palm three times to cover my whole body. The girlfriend has even commented on how much softer and less flaky my skin is.

Porterhouse and red lobster biscuits (home made) for dinner :yum:

I shot this with a Canon 7D, 24-70 2.8 L series lens, 580EX flash with diffuser and no post-production correction.

Back to Ohio tomorrow. Was a good two weeks home; was very productive over the holidays. Painted the baby's room, second bath, and ceilings, assembled the furniture, trimmed out all the bathroom mirrors and fixed the garage door opener so it doesn't sound like a freight train in the bedroom above.

Hitting the road will be a break for me haha. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
