I bought the non+ version back in 2007 or 2008 and they're still going strong. Best desktop speakers I've ever used, don't even need a subwoofer

I was looking at the A2+. i don't have the money right now for your fancy speakers hahaha

Yup. Seems normal. It hums at high speeds. I get a high pitched electronic whine when blipping the throttle even 100rpm. I even get the random flapping plastic on metal sound when above 6k rpm coming somewhere from the engine area.

Newest issue is the rear brakes/rotors/whatever giving a slight rumble when braking from 50+mph.

that usually means the rotors are warped... need to get them re-done or buy new ones if you don't like the oem ones...

Yea. It's a very light shake. They can probably be re-done. i'll worry about them next year. No point in doing it now. Just means I can get R1 slotted rotors with black hats.

09 used. Bought with extended warranty though with full coverage for 5 years. Think they'll cover it? It's a certified preowned.

I think it depends on the relationship with the dealer and how strapped for cash the dealer is. Rotors are typically wear parts and they may argue the case. However, you won't get if you don't ask. Asking is free, and so might the rotors.

Dealer is a bunch of tools. I called, they won't do a thing. Said it's a normal wear item and I've put on over 3k miles since ownership so it's off there hands. I just told the guy thanks and I really appreciate how cheap it is to change my own oil instead of them charging me $85.

kenchan 10-12-2015 04:05 PM

dat sucks. i'd swap the rotors and pads and get it over with.

ive yet to get any vibration on my Z nor G though..

Good news!!! I got my speakers to work again!! I hit the subwoofer that powers everything really really really REALLY hard with a ballpeen hammer and it started working!! It has a hole the size of the sub outlet in the top and I hear a high pitched whining when I play music, but the damn thing works!!
