Need to work but :postwhore: is pretty tempting ... so close to 20K

kenchan 11-16-2015 07:54 AM

Yah just stop the pump when the auto dispense disengages. :)

Topping off could result in gas spilling out.

JARblue 11-16-2015 07:54 AM

Thankfully, I am painus free

kenchan 11-16-2015 07:55 AM

I'm sure leon's a pro so he knows how much more he can get in.

JARblue 11-16-2015 07:55 AM

But now I'm thinking curry for lunch ... definitely will change that :ugh:

Different cars are different. Every gas tank I encountered in my Explorer Sport auto-stopped like 5 gallons short of full. It was weird.

thinking about going to get a red bull, need the energyz for today

job interview today after work. still debating if i should take it or not. it's more money but it's a 80 mile round trip vs my 50 mile round trip now 0.o

Damn bro! i know that feeling about the emails @ work :shakes head:

BTW you have to think if the extra money worth it cause you know you have to spend in more gas plus the traffic and wake up early...

And that's the gas pump stopping it automatically. Considering the tank is 19.1 gal, I'm not sure what would happen if I tried to top off an additional gallon :ugh:

Every pump around here cuts off wicked early. I've driven both cars down way past 0. The Z ALWAYS stops at 17.5 and the Civic which is 13 gallons stops at 10.5. I have never had any spillover from pumping an extra gallon.

Then again, i live in an area where gas stations are thieves and even when you stop pumping, the price rises slowly every few seconds per cent. I've got 2 stations left in my city that don't do that crap. And yes, I've reported the stations multiple times for illegal price gouging.

work emails are never fun lol

yup i was thinking about that with gas, tires, etc. today i'll see if i can work from home at least twice a week or something. i'd still be waking up around the same time. the work hours are 7am - 3pm. so i would avoid some of the traffic.

:hello:

I'll tank the pump out and before I can even get it into my tank, it'll show 2 cents on the screen already.

ever since EPA or someone did something to the nozzle angle (im suspecting) ive been having issues filling my G to full. some pumps would auto shut-off around 80%, some will go all the way up to near 100%.. :ugh:

and it's not the filler problem some folks were having on these cars, mine will fill to full at the right pumps.

my Z has showed no issue of this using the newer pumps nozzles.

Maybe it's a state thing? Literally every station here auto-stops 2-3 gallons short of full. Then they do that trickle stop every 20 cents so it takes longer to pump the remainder than the original amount.

It's all for dumb people who don't know gas tank volumes. Way to hard for people to read the owners manual.

b15 11-16-2015 09:08 AM

Morning. :tiphat:

b15 11-16-2015 09:15 AM

Limo company booked me a shared ride to the airport this morning.....I don't know why they would considering I've only used them twice a week every week for 3years and never got a shared ride...

Anyhow, Car shows up and there's already two people in the back and driver asks me to get in the front. I look and the seat is all the way forward and ram rod straight. Had it been only one other passenger or something bigger than a midsize, I'd deal with it. I tell him no thanks, get my bag out of the trunk. Ended up driving myself to the airport and had a nice call with the manager of the company on the drive. I'll be taking my business elsewhere, too many issues lately.

could be.. yah, it is annoying on my G as she is a gas guzzler in traffic... like my commute in the G is like 12-13mpg. :icon17: i much prefer to get all the fuel in the tank so dat i dont have to keep filling her every faking week... :ugh:

my fit with its 9gal or 10gal tank can go almost 2wks for me and fill up is like $18-20? :rofl2:
