I set up a separate checking account just to save money to buy things for my Z. My wife knows if the funds make it in to that account, she can't say anything because all of the bills have been paid, money put in to savings, and our retirement accounts have been funded.

Just some 19" Konigs since I don't need to be spending lots of moolah on a maZda.
