got a few more rc parts on order. :D

i have this vintage kit coming in from japan. :p thing is 20yrs old, still new in box by some collector. sorry to say, but im going to build it and drive it like my other rc cars.

yah, for some reason my G has killed over 8-9 birds through 11yrs of ownership (35k miles). my Z has killed a squirrel. :ugh:

The battery that was in it was about 8 years old, 1 year beyond warranty. I have a booster I tried first with no luck. A shorted battery cell can cause problems like this, or has in the past. Replaced it thinking that would take care of it. New Diehard is running 12.5+ volts. No clicking. Still does not turn over.

No time to deal with it this week and I need the truck Saturday to pick up a set of Volk TE37 SL wheels with a set of RE-11's on them. Off to the shop it goes.

i haven't killed any squirrels, just 1 bird in 10 years of driving.

my G drives like she means it when she is out and about. :D 35k miles in 11yrs is loads more real driving vs 150k miles of :yawn:
